台湾：竹跡館 竹编 竹景观

台中是台湾第二大最适宜居住的城市。随着建筑业的兴起和城市面貌的改变，它们也引导着城市不断地向前发展。本次项目的竹跡館是台中市房地产开发协会资助建造的展览馆。

Taichung is the second most livable city in Taiwan. With the rise of the construction industry and the change of the city’s appearance, they also lead the city to continue to develop. This project’s Bamboo Trace hall is an exhibition hall funded by taichung Real Estate Development Association.

竹建筑技术最重要的优点是成本低廉但不降低竹建筑质量，竹结构而且经久耐用，竹结构占用空间少。此外，竹材利用也是弥补资源总量不足的可行性选择。竹建筑的设计和建造更具灵活性，竹建筑优点之一就是能够通过更换损坏部分而得到经常性的维护。而且，竹建筑传统技术在现代建筑设计中的合理应用则竹子的另一个优点。

The most important advantages of bamboo construction technology are low cost without reducing the quality of bamboo construction, bamboo structure and durability, bamboo structure takes up less space. In addition, the use of bamboo is also a feasible choice to make up for the shortage of total resources. Bamboo buildings are more flexible in design and construction, and one of the advantages of bamboo buildings is that they can be regularly maintained by replacing damaged parts. Moreover, the rational application of bamboo traditional technology in modern architectural design is another advantage of bamboo.

竹亭所选用的材料均为台湾当地生产，其中以南投毛竹、牧野竹、嘉义竹为首选。与传统竹建筑装置的空间尺度表现和竹艺相比，竹亭的竹材本次项目在设计上充分体现了竹材的坚韧性和构成性。

The materials used in the bamboo pavilion are all produced locally in Taiwan, among which Nantou bamboo, Moye bamboo and Chiayi bamboo are the first choice. Compared with the spatial scale performance and bamboo art of traditional bamboo building installations, the bamboo of bamboo pavilion is designed to fully reflect the toughness and structure of bamboo.

竹建筑由于质量轻、竹建筑弹性好，竹建筑的竹子的抗震功能非常突出,通过将竹结构尺寸和竹编织工艺相结合，整个装置创造出能够反映竹结构与竹工艺相一致的永恒空间。竹建筑的技术要求不高。竹建筑比较容易与先进技术结合使用。

Due to its light weight and good elasticity, bamboo in bamboo buildings is highly earthquake-resistant. By combining the size of bamboo structure with the weaving process of bamboo, the entire installation creates a timeless space that reflects the structure and process of bamboo. The technical requirements of bamboo construction are not high. Bamboo buildings are easier to combine with advanced technology.

按照台中世界花艺博览会的主题——台湾之美，事务所从中央山脉的景色中获得灵感，使竹亭的外观看起来像是一颗种子，然后竹亭从地面破土而出，竹亭四周有水包围。不论竹亭室内外，竹亭都能与大自然无阻地联通。给参观者的感觉就像是在竹林中行走一般，竹亭强化了人们的体验感。当他们抬头时，可以仰望森林顶端的天空。

Following the theme of the Taichung World Flower Art Fair — The Beauty of Taiwan — the studio took inspiration from the views of the Central mountain range to create the appearance of a bamboo pavilion that looks like a seed and then emerges from the ground surrounded by water. Both inside and outside, the bamboo pavilion has an unimpeded connection with nature. Giving visitors the feeling of walking through a bamboo forest, the bamboo pavilion reinforces the experience. When they look up, they can look up at the sky above the forest.

因应国际花博主题，Formosa美丽的台湾，我们取自中央山脉群与海岛的意象，像是一种籽从地表长出并被水包围四周，在材料上我们尝试极具有东方文化的元素「竹子」，并运用竹子的韧性与结构性，体现建筑美学并结合自然，呈现具有张力与结构性的空间特质。

According to the international flower Po theme, Formosa beauty of Taiwan, we are from the central mountains and islands of imagery, like a seed from the surface and is surrounded by water all round, on the material we tried with Oriental cultural elements of the “bamboo”, and make use of the bamboo toughness and structural, architectural aesthetics and combined with the natural, has the tension and the space of the structural characteristics.

竹材是取自于南投与嘉义的在地材料，在设计上希望有别于传统竹艺与装置艺术对于竹子材料本身与空间尺度的表现，我们希望藉由建筑的工程技术与思维并结合传统台湾竹艺编织技术，运用传统工艺形塑具有过去现在与未来的空间连贯。

Bamboo is taken from the material on the ground of nantou and chiayi, hope that is different from the traditional decoration on the design and installation art to measure the performance of the bamboo material itself and space, we hope to borrow by building decoration engineering technology and thinking and combining with traditional Taiwan weaving techniques, using traditional craft shape has the space coherence of past, present and future.

最后我们希望人们在这个空间停留的同时，能平静的感受自然、感受一种平衡。在建筑与环境建设的同时，我们也都能设想著未来。「竹迹」隐喻著建筑的痕迹，象徵台中对于未来建筑的想像，能够使用更多永续建材, 与周边环境更协调的共存. 增强人与人之间/人与自然之间的友善关系, 进而与自然共生。

Finally, we hope that people can feel the nature and balance calmly while staying in this space. While building and building the environment, we can all imagine the future. “Bamboo trace” is a metaphor for the traces of architecture, symbolizing Taichung’s imagination of future architecture, which can use more sustainable building materials and more harmonious coexistence with the surrounding environment.
